Photographers can have an effect on their subject and the subject can have an effect on the photographer. The camera does not see what the eye sees. The camera sees what the sensor captures through the lens. The photographer uses the camera to see and present the world in a way that is different, unique, and interesting. Taking time to contemplate on the image about to be made opens up new possibilities.
